Where are Malagrida sloped drainage systems designed to be used?
The inner body of the Tecnochannel and Infinity channels is made of polypropylene, with a slotted stainless steel top grille (load class A15). The systems consist of 1.50-meter-long modules, connected seamlessly with a locking mechanism that doesn’t require silicone.
Once installed, the system can be covered with floor tiles to make it invisible.
These features make our sloped channels perfect for all indoor and outdoor surfaces in sports centers not crossed by vehicles, including: locker rooms, communal shower bathrooms, public swimming pools, and even outdoor playing fields and running tracks.
Maintenance and Cleaning of Sloped Channels
As mentioned, Malagrida channels feature an internal slope that increases water flow speed and enhances self-cleaning performance. As a result, our systems require less frequent cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional systems.
However, we recommend inspecting the channels regularly, especially those installed outdoors, to prevent water stagnation and dirt buildup.
